WHO WE ARE: We are a group of dedicated volunteers who direct our efforts at three fundamental areas: to increase adoption and to decrease euthanasia, to reduce pet overpopulation, and to enhance the quality of life for our animals by providing medical care beyond the shelter’s ability, by socializing the animals and by improving the shelter environment. Spring is finally here and love is in the air
ADOPT!
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
All of the dogs listed below are now on our urgent list. The shelter is full and adoptions have been very slow over the past year. We must make room for other dogs coming in. These are all great dogs but have been waiting for several months or more to find their forever homes. We would love to find a home or rescue for each and every one of these dogs. Please consider one of them as an addition to your family.

We were the State winners for the Petfinder Foundation voting Challenge. This means we won $1000 to use for medical expenses for our animals. We want to thank the Animal Rescue Site for their generous sponsorship as well as our supporters without whose votes we would not have won. Thank you all!
"DOYLE UPDATE: Doyle and me taking a snooze..he continues to heal and gain weight, first couple of nights he'd wake up looking confused, he now is realizing this is his life now and is steadily starting to take advantage of the perks of sleeping in our bed with us, laying on the couch, down to getting a piece of lunch meat every night when I make my lunch for the next day, Doyle also has two other play mates that he steadily mimics their good behaviors and is starting to play with..more updates to come, Doyle has another surprise coming up."
What more could we ask for?
Doyle was at the shelter for almost 1 year when he found his permanent home. See what his new family had to say below
